Related Companies’ designed its new luxury condominium development 350 Amsterdam Avenue with features that would appeal to affluent residents and families in particular. In addition to installing Equinox and its Pure Yoga brand there was 32,250 SF of retail space that needed to be filled with retail offerings to not only complement the property, but the neighborhood as well. RKF was tasked with identifying and securing tenants that would meet these objectives. The firm developed a merchandising and marketing plan for the space, focusing on tenants that met the criteria and did not have an Upper West Side presence. Leases were secured with Modell’s Sporting Goods, children’s specialty retailer Giggle, Tugooh Toys and Crumbs Bake Shop.
