Drew Schaul joined RKF in 2011 with the creation of the firm’s Miami office. He is an Executive Vice President with RKF, responsible for overseeing all of RKF’s Miami operations. Specializing in both landlord and tenant representation, Drew has more than 12 years of experience and has completed numerous transactions on behalf of owners and retailers throughout the country, with a special concentration in national high profile street retail, lifestyle centers and enclosed shopping destinations. Drew is the exclusive retail real estate representative for Brooks Brothers and Allen Edmonds on national streets and in lifestyle centers. He has successfully represented Brooks Brothers in over 20 transactions throughout 15 states, including securing a 26,000-SF flagship store at 240 Post Street in downtown San Francisco and the second Black Fleece location on Fillmore Street. Drew has secured more than 15 locations throughout 14 states and Washington, DC for Allen Edmonds, including its new flagship in downtown Philadelphia at 18th and Chestnut Streets. Drew is also the account lead for Kohler Interiors, parent company to Baker Furniture and Ann Sacks, as well as GNC, True Religion and The Walking Company. He also represents Luxottica Retail Group, which includes LensCrafters, Ilori, Sunglass Hut, Optical Shop of Aspen, Apex and Pearle Vision, throughout Florida and Georgia. During the last 12 years, Drew has successfully secured locations for many other national retailers, such as Burlington Coat Factory, The Home Depot, Sears Home Appliance Showroom, Chase, Dress Barn, MC Sporting Goods, The University of Phoenix, Sprint and Supercuts. Specific to Miami, Drew has recently secured positions for John Varvatos (Bowery concept), Superdry, French Connection, Sunglass Hut, Peter Lik, and Desigual on Lincoln Road. Drew also arranged the lease for Tommy Hilfiger’s flagship location at 616 Collins and successfully subleased 7,000 SF at 740 Collins to Quiksilver on behalf of Ralph Lauren. Drew also has extensive experience in representing notable landlords, including Simon Property Group, The Glimcher Company, Benenson Capital Partners, Urban America, Midwood Investment & Development, Prudential, Robertson Properties Group, Vornado Realty Trust, JSRE Acquisitions LLC, and TriStar Capital, among others. Drew has played a role in several investment sales transactions throughout South Florida. Most recently, he was involved in the two largest retail investment transactions in the history of South Beach – the $132 million sale of 1100 Lincoln Road (127,000 SF) to Vornado Realty Trust and the $139 million sale of TriStar Capital’s 53,000-SF retail portfolio on Lincoln Road, to Acadia Realty Trust. Additionally, Drew played an integral part in the redevelopment of Lakes Mall, in Lauderdale Lakes, by securing new leases with Burlington Coat Factory, Office Depot and Aldi, and then successfully represented the owner, Urban America, in the sale of the 275,000-SF center to RMS Properties. Prior to his joining RKF, Drew was with CBRE in Miami. Previously he was with the Samuel Schaul Company, a real estate firm with offices in Cleveland and Las Vegas. Drew earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is a CCIM candidate and has completed CI-101 and CI-104. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Florida and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
