Ms. Bandel has more than 15 years experience in commercial real estate marketing and communications. She joined RKF in 2003 and oversees all corporate marketing and communications initiatives for the firm. Ms. Bandel also provides strategic direction and support to RKF professionals and their clients in marketing retail space and projects. She oversees a team of 10 who specialize in marketing and communications, graphic design and production, market research, mapping, and information management.

Prior to joining RKF, Ms. Bandel was with Insignia/ESG (currently CB Richard Ellis) for five years. Her last assignment was managing director, corporate communications, where she was responsible for national and New York regional communications efforts including corporate advertising, branding and graphic standards. Ms. Bandel was also responsible for devising and executing strategic marketing campaigns for select agency assignments. Immediately prior, Ms. Bandel was regional director, marketing & communications for Insignia/ESG’s Midwest Region.

Previously, Ms. Bandel was marketing communications manager for PREMISYS Real Estate Services/Prudential Realty Group in Chicago. She supervised and implemented regional corporate marketing communications programs and was responsible for property-specific marketing for a 30 million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio. Prior to that, she was director of corporate communications with Tishman Midwest Management Corp., a Chicago-based developer, and director of creative services with Stark Production Associates, Ltd., an international production and marketing communications firm.

Ms. Bandel earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Advertising from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
