Asian food supermarket to open in Staten Island
NEW YORK, NY — Asian Food Markets recently signed a 25,128-square-foot lease at the West Shore Plaza in Staten Island, NY. The grocer will open its sixth store at the 256,000-square-foot shopping center.
The new store, located at 1801 South Avenue, will join Burlington Coat Factory, AC Moore, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Shopper’s World and Chuck E. Cheese in West Shore Plaza. Asian Food Markets leased the space formerly occupied by Amazing Savings. RKF Executive Vice Presidents Barry Fishbach and David Rosenberg, along with Associate Mark Lopatukhin represented the landlord, Shore Plaza LLC.
“This is Asian Food Markets’ first store in the Boroughs and a great addition to the recently repositioned West Shore Plaza,” said Fishbach.
Asian Food Markets has five other locations, including Cherry Hill, NJ; Plainsboro, NJ; Middletown, NJ; Edison, NJ; and North Plainfield, NJ.
