RKF Secures SoHo Store for Forever 21

Fashion retailer leases 18,500 square feet at 568 Broadway
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has completed a lease for 18,500 square feet for Forever 21. The fashion retailer took 8,500 square feet on the Ground Floor and 10,000 in the Basement of 568 Broadway in SoHo. The space is currently occupied by Eddie Bauer.
Robert K. Futterman, Chairman & CEO of RKF and Howard I. Gilbert, Senior Managing Director represented Forever 21 in the transaction. Ownership of 568 Broadway LLC represented itself through one of the partners, Alex Adjmi.
“Forever 21 has long sought to secure a spot in SoHo,” said Futterman. “Broadway between Houston and Prince, which has become one of the premier retail stretches in Manhattan, has incredible foot traffic and really caters to Forever 21’s young, urban customer,” he added.
A/X Armani is on the first floor of 568 Broadway, and RKF recently represented the landlord in leasing the entire second floor and part of the third floor to Equinox. Other neighboring retailers include Prada, Bloomingdale’s SoHo, Dean & De Luca, Zara, Victoria’s Secrets, Quiksilver, Banana Republic and American Eagle Outfitters.
“We are very excited that were able to complete the deals with Forever 21 and Equinox, said Adjmi. “We believe they constitute a strong benefit and add new drive to the SoHo area,” he continued.
Forever 21 has two other locations in Manhattan – Herald Square and Union Square.
