Sephora and Design Within Reach lease space on destination shopping avenue
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has completed two leases on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. Cosmetic and fragrance retailer Sephora has signed a lease for 5,600 square feet at 75 Greenwich Avenue, and furniture retailer Design Within Reach has signed a lease for 1,600 square feet at 86 Greenwich Avenue.
Robert K. Futterman, Chairman and CEO, and Diana Chace, Director of RKF, were the exclusive representatives of 75 Greenwich Avenue on behalf of the landlord, Merof, LLC. Ms. Chace, along with RKF Executive Vice President Robert Cohen and Fandel Retail Group’s Victor Fandel represented Design Within Reach in the lease at 86 Greenwich Street.
“We are excited to have completed two high-profile transactions on Greenwich Avenue within quick succession of each other. Both spaces leased very quickly, with many offers,” stated Mr. Futterman. “Greenwich Avenue has evolved into a highly desirable retail address,” he added.
“Both properties are at ‘the top’ of the Avenue near Putnam Avenue, key locations in this premiere Fairfield County destination shopping district,” said Ms. Chace.
Other specialty retail tenants on Greenwich Avenue include Scoop, Saks Fifth Avenue, Coach, Tiffany, Banana Republic, Talbots, Victoria’s Secrets and Ann Taylor with Intermix opening its newest location in August 2005.
In addition to the Greenwich Avenue lease, RKF has represented Design Within Reach on numerous leases in the metropolitan area, including one in Westport earlier this year.
