Apparel Industry Veteran Kenneth B. Shiers Joins RKF

NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, is pleased to announce Kenneth B. Shiers has joined the firm as an associate.

Mr. Shiers has more than 25 years of experience in the apparel industry, having managed the sales and marketing within luxury, moderate and value distribution channels. Prior to joining RKF, Mr. Shiers was with Hartmarx Corporation, most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing for Hartmarx’s Trans-Apparel Group. Previously, he was executive vice president of Hartmarx’s Burberry Tailored Clothing Division. Prior to Hartmarx acquiring The Plaid Clothing Group, Mr. Shiers was the vice president of sales and an equity partner of the latter firm.

Mr. Shiers is a licensed real estate salesperson. He earned a Bachelor of Business degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University.
