High-end men’s suit retailer takes 4,762 square feet at 3 West 56th Street
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation's leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has completed a lease with Venanzi at 3 W. 56th St., also known as the Crown Building. The high-end men's suit retailer signed for 4,762 square feet at the 366,200-square-foot building.
Ariel Schuster, managing director, with RKF represented building owner The Lexington Building Co., LLC in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Jennifer Jones of Garrick-Aug Associates Store Leasing Inc. The space is located on 56th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues. Venanzi, which took retail space previously occupied by Louis Feraud, will occupy 2,600 square feet on the ground floor and 2,162 square feet on the second floor. The new store is expected to open for the 2005 holidays.
The Venanzi transaction marks the third new lease signed over the past two years. As old leases have expired in the building, Ownership has secured luxury tenants including Family Inada (7 West 56th Street) and Beverly Feldman (9 West 56th Street). The last remaining space, a 1,350 square foot unit at 5 West 56th Street was formerly occupied by N. Peal and is currently being marketed to various high end tenants.", said Schuster.
Neighboring tenants at the Crown Building include Bank of America, Beverly Feldman, Family Inada, Bulgari, Mikimoto, Piaget and Smythson of Bond Street.
RKF serves as exclusive retail leasing consultant for the Crown Building, spearheading the remerchandising of the 56th Street side of the property. The Venanzi transaction is the third retail lease completed by RKF in the past year. The only retail space remaining is a 1,250-square-foot site previously occupied by N. Peal.
