Ray's Pizza, Bagel & Bean to open in high-traffic Manhattan location
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation's leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has completed leases with Ray's Pizza and Bagel & Bean at 1710 Broadway. The pizzeria took 3,000 square feet and the bagel specialty food retailer signed for 2,191 square feet at the 52,150-square-foot building.
Robert K. Futterman, chairman and CEO, and Mark Kapnick, senior director, with RKF represented building owner C & K Properties in both transactions. Kapnick also represented Ray's Pizza. The 1710 Broadway building is located at Broadway and 54th Street.
Ray's Pizza and Bagel & Bean signed for retail space previously occupied by Amalgamated Bank. Ray's Pizza is taking a 1,800-square-foot retail space with a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine. Bagel & Bean is relocating to 1710 Broadway from its previous location on Seventh Avenue. The bagel specialty food retailer signed for 1,691 square feet on the ground floor along with 500 square feet of mezzanine space. Both Ray's Pizza and Bagel & Bean are expected to open in September 2005.
"The 1710 Broadway office building is home to Bad Boy Entertainment and houses the offices of Sean P. Diddy Combs," said Kapnick. "This is a high-traffic location that is ideal for a food tenant."
Neighboring tenants include Serafina, Starbucks, Cingular/AT&T Wireless and The Dream Hotel.
