RKF Promotes Robert Draizen to Managing Director

NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has announced the promotion of Robert Draizen to managing director.
Draizen, 43, was previously a senior director with RKF. He has more than 20 years of experience in retail real estate and operations. For the past seven years, his primary focus has been the development of strategic plans and the execution of expansion goals for national retailers.
“Robert Draizen has developed a comprehensive knowledge of retail markets nationwide and maintains extensive contacts with retail owners and developers throughout the country,” said Robert Futterman, CEO of RKF. “His retail background allows him to bring to clients a unique perspective and a comprehensive approach to handling their real estate requirements.”
Draizen’s clients include Allen-Edmonds, Brite Smile, Smith & Hawken, Dooney & Bourke, PureBeauty, Solstice Sunglass Stores, Izod and Forever 21. His recent accomplishments include securing six national locations for Solstice Sunglass Stores, including a space in the Mall of America, and five sites in the Washington, D.C., area for PureBeauty.
Prior to joining RKF, Draizen served as vice president with The Greenberg Group. Earlier, he was a leasing representative with The Taubman Co. Draizen was also assistant general manager of the Great Mall of the Bay Area, director of operations at ABC Carpet & Home, and vice president of operations and general merchandise manager with Argersinger’s Department Store.
Draizen received a bachelor’s degree in retail marketing from Skidmore College. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
