Retailer leases 6,875 square feet in expansion plan
NEW YORK, NY - Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, has completed six transactions for Solstice Sunglass Store. The retailer leased six stores nationwide for a total of 6,875 square feet of space.
Karen Bellantoni, senior managing director, and Robert Draizen, senior director, of RKF represented Solstice in all six transactions. The company was selected by the retailer as its exclusive retail leasing representative in new locations late 2003. Solstice operates 42 stores throughout the United States, including its six new locations, with more opening in 2005. The retailer typically leases 1,000-square-foot locations.
"Solstice Sunglass Store has been expanding into select regions throughout the United States," said Bellantoni. "We have been actively searching for appropriate sites in top-end shopping centers and retail sectors in warm weather markets. RKF has brought Solstice to some of the most well known locations in the country, focusing on retail markets that generate tremendous sales."
Solstice Sunglass Store’s new locations include 1,248 square feet at the Westfield Shoppingtown Santa Anita, 400 S. Baldwin Ave., in Arcadia, Calif; 828 square feet at 102 Park Ave. in Winter Park, Fla.; 1,300 square feet at the Mall of America, 60 E. Broadway, in Bloomington, Minn.; 1,249 square feet at the Irvine Spectrum Center, 71 Fortune Drive, in Irvine, Calif.; 1,000 square feet at Palisades Center, 1000 Palisades Center Drive, in West Nyack, N.Y.; and 1,250 square feet at St Johns Town Center, 4775 Town Center Parkway, in Jacksonville, Fla.
