Firm secures 750 square feet for retailer
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services represented Baby Cottons in its lease of 750 square feet at 1236 Madison Avenue, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
RKF Director Marc Finkel represented Baby Cottons. Robert Kunikoff of Garrick Aug represented the ownership, Saint David’s School.
Children’s-wear retailer Baby Cottons signed a long-term lease and will be opening its first New York City location in January 2007. The space is located on the southwest corner of 89th Street and Madison Avenue in Saint David’s School’s old gym.
“The 56-year old prestigious New York prep school offered a prime retail opportunity but they needed the right tenant that would fit into this prestigious Madison Avenue location,” said Finkel. “Baby Cottons will be an excellent addition to the growing children’s market in the area.”
Baby Cottons is a children’s-wear retailer that offers pure cotton clothing for infants and toddlers. The company currently has retail locations in Miami, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Peru.
Neighboring tenants include Commerce Bank, Marie Chantal, Bonpoint, Spence School, The Nightingale-Bamford School and The Brearley School.
The country's leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing and investment sales, Robert K. Futterman & Associates LLC (RKF) serves a broad spectrum of domestic and global clients in services ranging from national tenant and owner representation to advisory, consulting and disposition. With over $4 billion in aggregate real estate transactions to its credit, RKF has been responsible for identifying scores of real estate opportunities throughout the United States for leading American and international chains, retailers, developers and institutional clients.
