Retailer will open its first New York City location at the Roosevelt Hotel
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales, and consulting services leased 900 square feet of retail space to Fresh Fruit Bouquet Company, a retailer that offers a unique, healthy, beautiful and edible alternative to floral arrangements and centerpieces, at 70 Vanderbilt Avenue, also known as 45 East 45th Street or The Roosevelt Hotel.
RKF Managing Director Ariel Schuster and Associate Izzy Anthony represented ownership of the Roosevelt Hotel. Nicole Meyer and Kelli Mekles of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant.
The Roosevelt Hotel’s current retailers include: Lindt, Clarks, Jean Louis David, The Art of Shaving, Ambassador Leather Goods, Cosmetics on Madison, Bloom NY, Grand Central Optical and John Allen.
“Fresh Fruit Bouquet Company will benefit tremendously from the heavy foot traffic Grand Central Terminal and the surrounding business district generate. The tenant will also greatly profit from the incredible co-tenancy opportunities the space presents,” said Schuster.
Built in 1922, the Roosevelt Hotel features 1,015 rooms and suites, expansive banquet space and extensive ground floor retail space. The building is 18-stories and 598,248 square feet.
The RKF leasing team is currently marketing an additional 7,000 square feet of retail space to upscale tenants including apparel, accessories, jewelry and specialty retailers that will complement the hotel’s existing tenants.
