Retailers Lease 2,800 SF at 1036-1052 Lexington Avenue
New York, NY – Robert K. Futterman & Associates (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services, is pleased to announce the leasing of three spaces within The Winter Organization's properties which span the entire western block front of Lexington Avenue between 74th and 75th Streets and is being marketed as 1036-1052 Lexington Avenue. HB Home has leased 700 square feet at 1036 Lexington Avenue, Second Time Around has leased 1,400 square feet at 1040 Lexington Avenue, and Alex & Lorenzo Home has leased 700 square feet at 1048 Lexington Avenue.
RKF Executive Vice President Ariel Schuster and Director Izzy Anthony represented building ownership, The Winter Organization, in all of the leases. HB Home was represented by RKF Managing Director Marc Finkel, Second Time Around was represented by RKF Director David Alani, and Alex & Lorenzo Home was represented by RKF Managing Director Robert Draizen.
RKF has long served as the exclusive retail leasing agent for 1036-1052 Lexington Avenue, having completed ten leases at the buildings during its tenure. Other retailers at the property include Lemonade, Laura Geller Cosmetics, Boutique Elle, Wink, Johnson's Frame Center and Entre Nous. RKF is currently marketing a 1,150 square feet at 1042 Lexington Avenue. Formerly occupied by Toto, the space features 750 square feet on the Ground Floor and 400 square feet in the Basement.
HB Home is an interior design studio and boutique with stores in Greenwich and Westport, CT. 1036 Lexington Avenue is the retailer's first New York City location and is anticipated to open in spring 2010.
Second Time Around is a chain of contemporary, designer and consignment clothing stores. Currently Second Time Around operates 23 boutiques throughout the country. 1040 Lexington Avenue is the retailer's second Manhattan location, which is currently open for business.
Alex & Lorenzo Home, a home accessories retailer, is relocating from its current location at 450 East 78th Street. The new store at 1048 Lexington Avenue is anticipated to open in spring 2010.
