Luxury Watch and Fine Jewelry Retailer to Open in Midtown
NEW YORK —RKF, the country’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services, announced today that it has arranged a 2,914-square-foot lease with Cellini, an independent luxury watch and fine jewelry retailer, at Midwood Investment and Development’s 430 Park Avenue in bustling Midtown.
RKF Senior Director Ike Bibi represented Cellini, while RKF Executive Vice President Beth Rosen and Associate Benjamin Zack represented the landlord, Midwood Investment and Development.
The 2,914-square-foot corner space, formerly the home of Mercedes-Benz Manhattan, features 107 feet of wraparound frontage as well as an all-glass storefront. Cellini will be relocating from its prestigious location at the Waldorf Astoria New York that it has been in for more than 40 years.
430 Park Avenue is a 19-story office building situated on the southwest corner of East 56th Street, surrounded by the corporate headquarters of some of the world’s leading companies, art galleries and auction houses, as well as luxury hotels, including the Four Seasons Hotel. The building is also in close proximity to Bloomingdale’s, Apple, Bergdorf Goodman and other iconic shopping destinations, as well as across the street from Macklowe Properties’ recently completed 432 Park Avenue, currently ranked as the tallest residential condominium building in the world. Other neighboring retailers include Casa Lever Gardens, D. Porthault, E. Braun & Co, Ferrari, Phillips de Pury & Company, and Stefano Ricci.
“The prestigious corridor of Midtown brings together office workers, tourists, daytime shoppers and affluent residents,” said Rosen.
“430 Park is the perfect fit for Cellini, whose clientele includes connoisseurs of the world’s best watches and finest jewelry,” added Bibi. “A high-profile corner location in this busy market will allow Cellini to bring these discerning customers what they love.”
RKF is marketing one remaining available retail space in the building consisting of 1,213 SF and 18 feet of Park Avenue frontage immediately adjacent to the Cellini space.
