Andrew Stern is a Managing Director with RKF, specializing in both landlord and tenant representation. He began his career with RKF in 2010 as a Canvasser. Andrew represents many prominent landlords, including Forest City Ratner Companies, Fortuna Realty Group, Newcastle Realty Services, Sterling Equities, Kushner Companies, Moinian Group, Kibel Companies, Jamestown, Philips International, AIB Development Corp., Stellar Management, Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation, Tristar Capital, Sutton Management, Summit Equities, Caspi Development, Metroloft Management, Chetrit Group, Zar Property, Eretz Group, Magnum Real Estate Group and Premier Equities. Andrew also works on behalf of several retailers. After their three year absence from the market, he represented Men’s Heritage Brand J Press, who has operated in New York since 1912, in locating a new home on the Men’s Mile in Midtown at the base of the Yale Club at 44th Street and Vanderbilt Avenue. Also in the Men’s Mile, Andrew represented Men’s brand Sayki in its lease at 340 Madison Avenue and subsequently 375 Madison Avenue for the first US locations for the brand that has 82 locations in Turkey. Andrew was a member of the team that sold the 11,000-SF retail condominium at 250 Bowery on behalf of the landlord to International Center of Photography, who is relocating its museum there after 40 years in Midtown Manhattan. Andrew also helped sell 353 West 46th Street to a Restaurant user and 195 Tenth Avenue in the sale of airights to the developers of 197 Tenth Avenue. Andrew arranged the long term triple net lease of the entire six-floor building on behalf of ownership at 113 East 60th Street to Ocean Recovery. Andrew has established himself as the most active retail leasing broker in Tribeca, having completed 45 transactions at 86 Chambers Street, 120 Church Street, 130 Church Street (two transactions), as well as at 136 Church Street (four transactions), 185, 193, 200 Church Street (six transactions), 241, 249, 251, 257 and 271 Church Street (three transactions), 120 Duane Street, 142 Duane Street, 102 Franklin Street (three transactions), 175 Franklin Street, 42 Hudson Street (three transactions), 170 Hudson Street (two transactions), 69 Leonard Street , 39 North Moore Street, 56 Reade Street (three transactions), 72 Reade Street, 41 White Street, 66 West Broadway, 88 West Broadway and 111 Worth Street with tenants such as Schnipper’s, DHL, Verizon, Los Tacos No. 1, Tribeca’s Kitchen, MetroPCS, Thierry Despont, Two Hands Restaurant and Bar, James Perse, Tracy Anderson, Sweaty Betty, Quick Cryo, Unilever (Nexxus), Kiki de Montparnasse, Swiss Institute, Wyndt, Jason Scott, Nova Fitness, Innovation Shade, Kiddie Academy, Church Street School Pup Culture, Scanlan Theodore and Shoji. In addition to Tribeca, Andrew also has a strong presence and track record in the Financial District where he has completed nine deals. Andrew also focuses on representing quick-service food tenants. He has arranged five leases for Red Mango, four leases for Jacques Torres Chocolate, six leases for Dunkin’ Donuts and three leases for Vin Sur Vingt. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Real Estate Investment from Baruch College, where he graduated cum laude. He is a licensed salesperson in the State of New York and a member of International Council of Shopping Centers. He was chosen as one of Commercial Observer’s 30 Under 30 in 2014 and was recognized as a Costar power broker in 2017 as one of the top 20 retail leasing brokers in New York City for that year.
