Kristin McCann joined RKF in 2013 as a Director in the firm’s Los Angeles office and has since been promoted to Senior Director. With 14 years of experience, Kristin has represented a variety of retail tenants and landlords through the years.
Kristin has helped numerous tenants find their first Los Angeles location, including The Elder Statesman, EverAfter, Leon Max, Cutler & Gross, Ample Hills Creamery, Heron Haberdashery, Suitsupply, Bonobos, and Sockerbit Sweet and Swedish. Among some of her other notable transactions are representing Amy’s Bread in the leasing of a 33,880-SF manufacturing/production facility the “Flour District” in Long Island City, NY. She also represented Scandinavian candy company Sockerbit Sweet and Swedish in the lease of the company’s first location in New York’s West Village and as well as its expansion to Los Angeles.
Kristin’s work on behalf of property owners is equally as extensive. She worked with Regency Centers on the leasing of more than 45,000 SF at Westlake Plaza in Westlake Village, CA, arranging leases with CorePower Yoga, SoulCycle, Les Boudoirs, M Frederic, Burro, Pressed Juicery, Le Pain Quotidien and Pitfire Artisan Pizza. Kristin also was responsible a 5,000-SF lease with brewery concept Houston Hall on West Houston Street in New York. This transaction, along with four others, helped revive a formerly vacant section of the West Village/Hudson Square to create a new eating and drinking corridor.
Prior to joining RKF, Kristin was a Senior Director with Sinvin Real Estate where she concentrated on the SoHo, West Village and Tribeca markets in New York City. Before her career in real estate, Kristin worked at auction house Sotheby’s in business and client development.
Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, she completed the Professional Chef program at Epicurean School of Culinary Arts. She is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the states of New York and California and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Kristin was named a ‘Rising Star’ by Real Estate Weekly in 2007.
