Neal Ohm joined RKF in early 2017 to concentrate on the New York and Toronto retail markets. With more than 10 years of experience in retail real estate and the luxury retail sector, Neal brings a unique perspective to both retailer and owner representation.
Neal’s retail clients include Barry’s Bootcamp, New York Kids Club, 16 Handles, Los Tacos No. 1, Tarallucci e Vino, Alma Bank, and Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream. For Barry’s Bootcamp, Neal launched the rollout of the brand in New York City, sourcing and handling lease negotiations for all of the city locations, including the top three performing units in the company’s international portfolio. As exclusive representative for New York Kids Club, Neal also handled the sourcing and negotiation for seven city sites to position the company for a capital infusion. For Unilever, Neal represented Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream in securing its Times Square Flagship, which is the highest grossing store in the chain.
Neal’s ownership client roster is equally as prestigious and diverse, and includes RFR Realty, Paramount Group, EL JO Company (Manocherian Brothers) and Buckingham Properties.
Prior to joining RKF, Neal operated his eponymous firm Neal Cabot Ohm where he was single-personally negotiated more than $200 million in lease transactions for both landlords and tenants. Previously, he was Director, Retail Division for CS Commercial Group, responsible for developing, organizing and maintaining the firm’s retail leasing and marketing division, in addition to securing and servicing business. Before that, Neal worked in-house with luxury brands Prada, Tuleh and Maserati in sales.
Neal earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture and Spanish from the University of Minnesota. He is a licensed real estate associate broker in the state of New York.
